It’s funny how chasing our dreams can be equally exciting and terrifying. Probably because the bigger they are—the more we want it—the greater it feels like we’ll crash and burn and it’ll break our heart. There’s something extremely vulnerable about sharing words from your own mind and hoping others see themselves too in the story and in the characters. I’ve put my heart and soul—my everything—into this book and I so badly want to see it be successful in finding the right readers.

I took a leap of faith going indie, mostly because I wanted more control over certain aspects. I never queried. There’s always that fear, the gnawing on my self conscience, that I should just keep “practicing” writing more novels or writing more drafts. But at some point, I (you) have to say, good is good enough, rip off the Band-aid, and release it into the world.

So here’s to hoping this little book baby finds its people.

Outside the glow of Hollywood, it doesn’t take long for Ashton to see that Griffin is more than the hunk he portrays on TV. As their professional and personal lives intertwine and their attraction grows stronger, their chemistry becomes undeniable. But when the heat of the spotlight threatens to expose Ashton’s past and Griffin’s secret, the two must decide: fight for what’s real between them, or risk becoming another casualty of fame.

I’ve been quieter on here. I’m keeping my head

I’ve been quieter on here. I’m keeping my head down, trying to do THE WORK. I’m coming to the final bend in my manuscript—meaning it’s time to stop making changes and start opening it up to more people. 🙈😳 SUCH a challenge for this perfectionist. It’s equally terrifying and exciting.
