How many drafts do you go through?? Let’s be honest, this draft isn’t for readers. It’s for ME. Despite my detailed outline, I’m still learning my characters, and their stories. My opening chapters are always my most re-written, because once I’m finished, I have a much better understanding of my characters and how they’ll grow and change…and it’s not always how I imagine in my outline. 🫠It’s a process. It’s a process. I’m trying my best to allow myself to be “bad” at writing, and to have “placeholder” scenes until I’m more confident in what needs to be shared.
